VMware Vmware CTO Steve Herrod in the article on eWeek.com titled Cto ستيف herrod في المادة المتعلقة بعنوان eweek.com Why لماذا Virtualization Is Becoming Strategic المحاكاه الافتراضيه اصبحت الاستراتيجيه says that most organizations originally set out to utilize virtualization technologies in their IT systems to consolidate servers and save power draw, ويقول إن معظم المنظمات المحددة اصلا لاستخدام تكنولوجيا المحاكاه الافتراضيه في نظم تكنولوجيا المعلومات لتعزيز السلطة المركزية وانقاذ يرسم ، virtualization المحاكاه الافتراضيه almost invariably becomes a strategic asset for the organization. It’s interesting to note how tactical solutions can lead to strategic directions. To take this to the next phase of adoption, the user takes these virtualized machines and treat them as a cluster of resources according to Herrod and he goes on to say “It’s like the sum being better than each of the parts individually by allowing you to transparently failover between machines if one should go down, and to do load-balancing during the course of the day as the workload changes”. Focused on reducing IT infrastructure cost is what drove IT department to implement virtualization. That implementation has enabled the executives to view IT differently. Instead of getting intimidated by servers, load balancers, network routers etc, non technical executives can comfortably view IT Infrastructure as ‘resource’ cloud. Virtualization has thus created a layer of abstraction. Once the executives see IT infrastructure as a ‘resource’, they can now allocate that resource for maximum utilization. اغتنم هذه الى المرحلة التالية من اعتماد مشروع القرار ، يأخذ المستخدم virtualized هذه الآلات والتعامل معها بوصفها مجموعة من الموارد وفقا لherrod ويمضي الى القول : "انه مثل للمبلغ أفضل من كل واحد من اجزاء منفرده من خلال السماح لك بشفافيه Failover بين الآلات اذا كان ينبغي لأحد ان تنخفض ، وعلى القيام تحميل التوازن اثناء اليوم لان عبء العمل التغييرات ". تركز على الحد من تكاليف البنية الاساسية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات الاضطرار هو الذي دفع الادارة الى انها تنفيذ المحاكاه الافتراضيه. أن التنفيذ قد مكن المديرين التنفيذيين لعرض بشكل مختلف. بدلا من الحصول على التخويف من قبل مراكز خدمة ، تحميل الموازنون ، شبكة المسارات الخ ، غير ان المسؤولين التنفيذيين التقني بشكل مريح بالنظر الى البنية الاساسية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات 'الموارد' غم. المحاكاه الافتراضيه وهكذا خلق طبقة من التجريد. التنفيذيين عندما نرى ان البنى التحتية ا 'الموارد' ، يمكنهم الان ان تخصيص الموارد من اجل الاستفادة القصوى. This in turn can enable the executives to look at IT as not just a cost center but as a resource center that can be deployed for maximize Return on Investment (ROI). وهذا بدوره يمكن ان تمكين المسؤولين التنفيذيين أن ننظر إليها على أنها ليست مجرد مركز التكلفه ولكن بوصفها مركز موارد يمكن استخدامها لتحقيق أقصى قدر من عائدات الاستثمار).

Thus knowingly or unknowingly, virtualization has enabled the executives to look at IT strategically. وهكذا بعلم أو بدون معرفة ، والمحاكاه الافتراضيه قد مكن المسؤولين التنفيذيين للنظر فيه استراتيجيا.
