Budgeting has always been tricky for the IT department. الميزنه على الدوام الى المهاره لادارة تكنولوجيا المعلومات. The main objective for the IT department is to get budgeting for applications and systems that are strategic in nature (ie systems that enable business strategy). ويتمثل الهدف الرئيسي للادارة هو انه للحصول على ميزانيه التطبيقات والنظم التي هي ذات طابع استراتيجي (أي النظم التي تمكن من استراتيجية الاعمال التجارية). Since budgeting is cost-based and finance is always looking for ways to cut cost, ‘keep the lights on’ systems are the only systems that usually gets funded. منذ الميزنه على اساس التكلفه والتمويل دائما يبحثون عن طرق لتخفيض التكاليف ، 'ابقاء الاضواء على نظم النظم هي وحدها التي عادة ما يحصل على التمويل. A legacy system which falls in this category gets just enough funding to keep that system limping along. تركة النظام ويندرج في هذه الفئة فقط يحصل على التمويل الكافي لإبقاء هذا النظام مضطربا. Most of the Non IT executives do not seem to understand the complexity of sustaining old and decrepit systems. معظم المسؤولين التنفيذيين غير أنه لا يبدو أن يفهم تعقيد الحفاظ على النظم القديمة وهرم. They also do not understand how an IT system can be used to attain business strategy. كما لا افهم كيف انه يمكن استخدام نظام لتحقيق استراتيجية الاعمال التجارية. Thus, it is imperative for the IT executives today, to talk the language of business and make a case as to how an IT system can: وهكذا ، فإنه أمر لا بد منه لأنه التنفيذيين اليوم ، للحديث بلغة الأعمال التجارية وجعل قضية لأنه كيف يمكن للنظام :

Increase the speed of product release زيادة سرعة الافراج عن المنتج
Widen the ‘economic moat’ by providing automation that outdistances the competitors توسيع الاقتصادية خندق 'عن طريق توفير التشغيل الآلي أن يجتاز المتنافسين
Systematize the core competency منهجيا من الكفاءات الأساسية
Support sustainable competitive advantage دعم الميزه التنافسيه المستدامة
Enable the Sales and Marketing to intimately know their customers تمكين المبيعات والتسويق وثيقا لمعرفة عملائها

If you cannot make a case that can be categorized by one of the above mentioned reasons, then it’s nearly impossible to get the project funded. اذا كنت لا تستطيع تقديم قضية يمكن ان تصنف من جانب واحد للاسباب المذكورة اعلاه ، ثم انه من المستحيل تقريبا للحصول على المشروع الممول. IT department will be left with no choice but to sustain the legacy system. انها سوف تقوم الادارة ان يترك اي خيار سوى الإبقاء على النظام القديم. Good luck with that! حظا سعيدا مع ذلك!
